Windows 10 will default to showing "tablet mode" if you are using a portable touchscreen device. This enables some enhancements that will make using Windows 10 on a tablet much easier - such as changing the popup start menu to a full screen experience.
Some users may prefer to use the more familiar desktop mode on their tablet, especially when using a powerful tablet like the Microsoft Surface.
To quickly toggle between modes, click the Action Centre icon:
