Wondering if anyone here is familiar and or has experience with this software.

Always looking for good software to clean up the system and get rid of unnecessary files.
I figured .....
IF it's good enough for Hilary Clinton and here legal team then it might be good enough for me.

I read about it a while back on Neowin

Didn't really spark my interest.... I figured Ccleaner was good enough for my purposes, but....

Now that it's in the news

I thought I might give it a second look. Thought I'd ask and see if anyone had used it.

Well if Hilary used it must wipe your HD clean. That's what she thought. LOL
I haven't tried it yet! Might give it a try. I'm very happy with CCleaner, Glary Utilities and Malware Hunter (Malwarebytes) I'm very happy with the performance of all 3. Malware Hunter I think is relatively new, you just have to be careful what it wants to delete and deselect from the log before deleting, If it find an .exe file a wrong directory it flags as malware.

Well that's some good advertising they've got right there :D.

I'd never heard of it until your post. I'm happy with CCleaner for the most part, but perhaps that's because I've been using it for so long and become familiar with it (it always seems to do a good job).

I use Bleachbit in Linux and it is similar to Ccleaner. The end-user must be willing to learn and understand the powerful cleaning features in Bleachbit or an end-user can and most likely destroy their OS.

Unlike Ccleaner where certain features are checked for minimal cleaning, in Bleachbit the end-user must configure the cleaning features to be used.

Bleachbit is not made to be used haphazardly by the inexperience end-user as it can and will destroy an OS if used in that manner.
