Got the new Windows 10 Anniversary update, downloaded and installed it. I was able to log in using my usual password. Then the keyboard went completely dead. Could not type anything anywhere after the log in screen. Shut down and rebooted - same thing. Blue light is on the keyboard, but all keys non-functioning. Had to restore back to previous version and keyboard is working correctly as nit should be. Will not update to the Anniversary release again until this bug has been fixed.

Hi moparb649,

It's unfortunate you rolled back all ready.

Some users have experienced the symptom you described and resolved it by:
  • Clicking Start > Settings > Ease of access
  • Then in left pane clicking Keyboard
  • Then in right pane turning Filter keys off
