I believe I fixed it!
I went to my motherboads drivers website and installed Realtek, from there I could set windows to 44.1k as default (or I hope so!).
So far, no problems... :)
Weird thing is that, I've been using this interface for over 5 years and never had this issue of Windows out...
I work with audio using an external audio usb interface running at 44.1k. Windows is changing it to 48k for some reason...
so I have to set Windows sampling rate to 44.1k to match my external audio usb interface (scarlett 18i20).
But I cannot access any page where I can do that inside windows...
Late reply, I'm sorry. I was off my PC all this time...
Back to the subject, I've tried all ways that I could find on the net and cant disable permanently "search".
I'm wondering now if this problem is related to my build.
My version: 1607 (OS build 14393.447)
Anyone knows how to do this?
I'm running Windows 10 pro.
I've been seeing at Task Manager how "search" consumes RAM. And I looked in many places and found many "solutions" but none worked for me, I cant manage to definitely remove this.
So I'm posting this here to see if some of you know how to do this.
