Greetings. how has our day been.

      are you a windows insider?

As you have done, is it a good thing to move from the C drive: Contacts, Favourites, Links, Saved Games, Searches, to the D drive as well is the usual, Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music & Videos?

Just leaving mainly applications to be on the solid state drive?

Hi trouble, I wonder if you can help me with the question I had posted on the forum? The title of my post is: Problems Relocating Library/Download Folders From C Drive to D Drive. I haven't had an answer so I thought you may be able to help.

      Thanks HB

Hi Randy, always impressed with your sensible replies to posts. You certainly know your stuff.
I see we are almost the same age, a couple of old farts!
Do you go by Chicago time or Indiana time and what is the meaning of "noob whisperer"?

I dislike windows 8.1 and 10. I have a few words I would like to say about windows 8.1 and windows 10 but are not fit for human ears. I think window 8.1 and windows 10 are pieces of )(*&^!@#$%$%^&*!@#$)(*@!#$ S _ _ T

I am not sure which post you are referring to. Be as it may. I have a working profile. I did make a mistake when I created the first copy since I selected all and then copy and paste to the new profile. That is even though I didn't see the ntuser stuff, I must have copied it.

Will further updates to Windows 10 the profile I couldn't entirely use is working again

Please take a look at my recent post concerning the Start button and task bar. There must be something in the profile that causes the problem. I might have to delete the new profile just created and then do some experimentation with various copies

I just got a new laptop and while I was setting it up I chose to skip the step of signing into a Microsoft account because I didn't have one. But I made one and want to sign in. But when I click, "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead" nothing happens. Please help!

Retired at age 55 from my former job as I.T. Administrator for a large labor organization in Chgo, IL.. Currently just doing some independent computer consulting and supporting clients using GoToAssist. I have an old and dusty MCSE for Windows NT4 and MCSAs on Windows 2k and 2k3 servers which are both becomming older and dustier. I had a CCNA from Cisco, which I let expire in 2003 since no one I know or worked for was using much in the way of Cisco equpment except some PIX boxes, which I still support sometime. Currently running 2k12r2 server, with Windows 8 32 and 64 bit clients and testing Windows 10. Enjoying Windows 7,8 & 10 and helping where I can.
