    Disable airplane mode

Thanks for the research Ben, and certainly should have worked, but unfortunately this airplane mode seems locked in place like cement; multiple tries with Function/CapsLock failed to release it.

    Disable airplane mode

Sounded good and tried both methods [remove & replace installed adapter and then replace with a usb] -- neither worked; what was possibly strange [not sure how things are interconnected] was that when tried a reboot with no adapter installed at all, the 'airplane mode' was still there and still...

    Disable airplane mode

Have tried all this and have used other network adapters -- nothing helps, but thanks for your concern.

    Disable airplane mode

My windows 10 'airplane mode' is stuck in 'ON' and have had no access to wifi for half a year. have asked for help on other forum locations [general; software] but many suggestions and long efforts have resulted in no elimination of the stuck at 'on' airplane mode. Believe only some basic coding...

    Disable airplane mode

Sounded good, so uninstalled all adapters including for ethernet, but reboot still found no change; apparently only uninstalling or incapacitating the 'airplane mode' function may do the job. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Disable airplane mode

Thanks for interest; did check those pages and tried the 'Fn + CapsLock' option, but no change -- Airplane mode still locked into 'ON'. Believe only some command line disabling of whole 'airplane mode' function will again free-up my wifi.

    Disable airplane mode

Is old. Itronix IX605. General Dynamics Model: GoBook VR-2 Bios version 116 Windows 10 Pro Product ID: 00331-20020-00000-AA704 Intel Core 2DUO CPU T7300 @2.00GHz Had fine WIFI until suddenly went off [may have inadvertently pressed the airplane mode, but then it would never release].

    Disable airplane mode

Not sure if here at 'software' or possibly at 'coding etc.' is best place for this, but have been trying for weeks to get help to turn-off airplane mode so can use wifi. Can see all attempts so far to resolve this problem under: Windows 10 Support 'Disable airplane mode'. As nothing else has...

    Disable airplane mode

OK, my laptop is by Itronix, and not Dell. Checked all labels on bottom, and one has the Product Key and Proof of License [plus misc. other numbers], and the other has the S/N sequence and the CFG sequence. There is another label regarding the chassis. Any of these of any use???

    Disable airplane mode

Initial setup should not be relevant as it initially had internet access only lost it recently [no idea why]. All options to employ the wireless have been activated -- to no benefit as long as the airplane mode remains stuck at ON [ may be a case of malicious hacking, as experienced that in...

    Disable airplane mode

Only slightly different on left screen, but identical on right. Bottom line is that when click the Airplane mode button which is set at ON, nothing happens except while holding the button down and moving it over to OFF, but as soon as release it, it returns to ON.

    Disable airplane mode

Tried, but still won't change out of ON; did have to go to ''settings'' to access 'Network and Internet', as window + i at same time didn't work, so possibly we have different versions of windows 10.

    Disable airplane mode

Airplane mode is stuck at ON and can't use any solution that involves internet access [am doing this at library] as only have wifi which is cut off by airplane mode. Have tried other solutions like adapter power cutoff option, but doesn't work [the advice to click on the 'RUN' when it comes up...
