I recently bought a new computer, pre loaded with Win10 64bit.
Nearly all of my software will not run, stating 64bit incompatability.
Is there anything I can do (Change to 32bit ) and would my old software work?

You can do a clean install with a 32-bit version of Windows 10 (you can download it from MS like this) , but I find it quite unusual that software would not run on your 64-bit machine. 32-bit software should work just fine. Are you running specialist applications? I'd be interested to see what the full error is, as this is quite unusual and the problem may be something different.

Hi Ian
I to be honest these are fairly old apps which ran on XP untill recently. - Nero Burning Suit, AutoCad, Games like Scrabble and a collection of "cover disks" collected over the years.
Auto run gives a message "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC check with the software publisher." Not much help as the Pulisher only wants me to buy a new programme.

I would try compatibility mode on both the installers and the programs first. If some of the old stuff is 16 bit programs I think you will be out of luck on those.
