Annoying ads in 10

Does anybody know how to turn off those annoying ads that play periodically in Windows 10?

Where or under what situation those ads appeared ?

Since July install of Win 10, I don't see any ads popping up.
Would you mind elaborate a bit, please ?

Actually I think they are coming from my Firefox browser not from 10 itself. Strange because I never had this issue before the 10 upgrade and I have the same web page opened in Chrome with no ads. I just assumed they were from 10 since they started when I did the upgrade.I apologize for the mistake.

Scan your PC for malware. It sounds as if that is your issue.

Is it possible you were running an older version of Firefox? If you are running a newer version now, I think Mozilla made changes which introduced Ads. Either way you should be able to install an ad-blocker to solve your issue.

I had an ad blocker installed but maybe it got lost in the upgrade. Thanks for the tip.
