Not sure if this is truly a WIN 10 issue or not, but I'm trying to attach a .exe file to a Yahoo! email and though I can attach it a message is included with the attachment saying File Type Not Supported and I realize that .exe files are suspect due to potential malware issues, but actually the .exe file is for encryption software that I want to send to someone. Is there a WIN 10 mail issue regarding support of .exe files or rather is this a Yahoo! mail issue?

Just right click it and choose "Send to" Compressed Zipped folder.
Attach the zip file instead.
Most mail providers balk at .exe files.

Or you could just rename the file to filename.txt and tell the recipient to rename the file to filename.exe when they get it.
