Anyone else noticing this is quite a frequent issue ?

Never had issues on 8.1 pro although guessing most likely down to the twitchy Nvidia drivers, and that Windows 10 doesnt allow downgrading drivers to older builds than what windows update have.

I was able to install older AMD drivers, and block auto downloading of the newer drivers with wushowhide.diagcab. I'm assuming you did an upgrade. I'd strongly recommend a clean install, although I haven't had any issues with bf4 yet (knock on wood).

TBH I think it was more to do with Nvidia putting out a flakey driver at launch, pretty much everything else seems fine, managed to play Dirt Rally for 10 hours continuously yesterday for example.

Thanks for the name of that app, will give that a look too, for others that are interested, there's a link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930

There also appears to be the old method to disable automatic drivers from Windows Update, so posted a thread in driver section on that topic.
