Benci Delayed Keyboard Strokes In Windows 10

i recently upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7.
when typing there is a delay in the letters appearing
what is the cause and how can i fix it.
very frustrating

When typing on what??
You're going to have to provide some additional detail.
What keyboard are you using? External? USB? Wireless? Integrated as in a laptop?
Do you suffer the same problem in all applications? Notepad, Wordpad, browser windows??
