Bricked!

Since the forced updates of W10 my laptop is now an expensive paperweight. It has screwed up everything! Some apps have disappeared, YouTube doesn't play as smoothly as it used to, it's so slow some sites take MINUTES to load. What the hell has it done? What is really annoying is that I cannot turn off the updates; it's either do it now, later or sleep!

The laptop will boot?
What version of Windows do you have?
Do apps that are resident on the machine and don't use the internet run properly?

Have you tried updating the network card driver?

Have you tried all the modern browsers? At least Chrome and Edge?

Are you running an aftermarket anti virus. If so turn that off and turn on defender.
