SOLVED Browsers on laptops

Why do browsers on laptops seem to act like they're in tablet form..Privacy badger always needs repairing on Edge and is always slow on firefox. Edge updates but gives you a choice, but changes things anyway, then you spend half your getting it how you like it. On firefox you can't purchase things off Argos and such. Is it the shopping online that can't set trackers the problem?.
