Can Sign In To Laptop

I turned of my laptop and when I tried to log in on the home screen it states go to account.live.com to fix, I used my desk top computer to reset the password but I still cant sign in, and without signing in I have no way to get to any of the file to run diagnostics

Can anyone help please

Boot to the login screen, then click on the eye-shaped icon in the password box, enter your password and see if it is displaying correctly.
