Upgraded from Win 7 which ran as normal. But now under Win 10 Pro, both "Restart" and "Shutdown" produce a restart.
I have reflashed to the last BIOS just in case but to no avail.

Sorry, should have said that I have resorted to "Soft Off" with the main case power button just as POST occurs each time to achieve an eventual power off but it's far from ideal.
After searching other forums problem solved. Issue was a motherboard application from Gigabyte called On/Off which has functionality for Apple systems. Uninstalled this which I found was loading at startup.
