CAN'T LOG IN MY LAPTOP

Hey guys,I updated my laptop today,which I rarely use.The laptop of course restarts during the update and now it says that my PIN is incorrect.Now I see this is a common problem,but I didn't find an answer for my particular case.Because as I said I've used the laptop rarely for the past 2-3 months,so I don't know my Microsoft Account password.Tell me I can get around this without serious tech support.I've tried recovering the password of the account but that seems hard too,as it's an account I've rarely used,and mostly for the purpose of that laptop windows 10 account

Hi Seriously,

Welcome to the Forum.

If you've forgotten your password and pin then you will need to go here:

https://account.live.com/password/reset

Follow the prompts to reset your password, then once done, connect laptop to WiFi and boot up and sign in with your reset password. It needs to be able to get online to verify the change.
