So I logged out of windows 10 store, and then I tried to log back in...but then this window pops up, saying "just a moment", and after 10 minutes, which is not a moment, it says "we encountered an error. Please try again later." I did try again later, and later, and later again, and no results! This is really very annoying because I am trying to buy something and this problem doesn't let me. Please save me from this misery, haha.

EDIT: This computer came with windows 10. I did not update to it.

Hi Mina,

You could try clearing Windows Store cache to see if that resolves the issue:
  • Right-click on Start
  • Left-click on Run
  • In the Run dialog that opens type: wsreset.exe then click OK
  • Now try logging back into the Store.

Let me know if that resolved the issue or not.

Hi Mina,

It's possible then you are not currently signed is with a Microsoft account, but rather just as a Local account.

If that is the case then doing the following ought to resolve the issue:

  1. Select the Start
    851aefc6-d9e7-41b6-a160-2a5e45499b33_17.png
button, then select Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.

  2. Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.

  3. Follow the prompts to switch to a Microsoft account. You may need to verify your identity by entering a confirmation code.

You can read more about that here if you need to:
