There is a corrupted file format .cdr CorelDraw version 10. Is there any possibility of recovery (recommendations for file recovery on corel.com refer only to the 7th version of the product - not suitable; to restore by importing into other programs, other program, of course also causes the error)

There is a third part Corel Draw repair tool... have you tried that?.. it's free but possibly limited to only a few uses..as well, there are many tutorials online on possible recovery, I myself don't use Corel Draw so this is only guessing on my part.

Just thought of this as well, not sure if it will rid you of your file woes but it could/might be able to locate the uncorrupted cdr file if it still exists in the bowels of your system.
The program is called Recuva, it's something I've used many times over the years with good results.
