Change Default Screenshot File Format

Hi,

What's the process for changing screenshot format in W10?
PNG is too big to be useful.

Any tips gratefully received.

Hi ensta,

take your screenshot and paste it in Paint and then select File > Save as and choose the jpg format!. ;)

Thanks, I have a number of tools for changing file format as a separate task. However, I wish to cut-out this step entirely.

Sorry I can't help you further, PNG is the default for screenshots afaik, I don't know how to change that. I always use Paint if I have a problem uploading a pic. :)
