Crashing when starting

I've had no problems downloading windows 10 and everything seems to have installed without problems. But when it start up, first I get this come up

Then I get this

I don't know if these are connected or two separate problems.
I can't find anything specific for the first one.
The second one everything I find involves inserting a boot disc for Windows 8/8.1. As I'm upgrading from windows 7 this doesn't help.
Has anyone any advice please.

Luckily some how I mange to find an option to go back to previous version (don't know how) and I'm back on 7 without problem.

open RUN dialoge box type SystemPropertiesProtection.exe
go to advanced tab => startup and recovery settings

The only trouble is. This is happening while windows is starting so I would be unable to to use the run box.
