Creating & saving documents

Going from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I don't know how to create & save a document. Help please.

As long as you have MS Office 2007 or better.....
There is absolutely no difference between Win 7 and Win 10.
Same way to create and same way to save.

You will have to describe the part you got stuck.

I don't even know where to GO to create a document! It's certainly not the same as Windows 7! I see no menu containing a New Doc. I did see a place to create files. Is it there? Please explain in detail.
