Cut and Paste stopped working

Recently and I think after the latest update, I have lost the ability to copy and paste pictures from a web site and paste into a chat room. It did work before. I can paste to word fine. This happened before and 'google" told me the settings to change to fix this. But I cant find or remember for to do this. Using Edge.
