DAILY PROBLEM w/I E 11 & Outlook.com FREEZING

Using I E 11 & Outlook.com mail in WIN 10 64-bit Home Edition. Both I E 11 & Outlook.com mail FREEZING on a DAILY BASIS, typically during the first time use of both (& many times upon subsequent use of both). I have tried numerous things so far w/o positive results. Does anyone have a solution(other than using Edge which I don't like), the Chrome Browser, etc. ???
