Database Access Engine Update

On the 13th November after the latest update, a VB application started to stop with an error an OLEDB Table Update 'Query "'. On investigation I found that the Microsoft Access database engine 2010 had been included in the update.
I uninstalled the update and the error went away so it seems that that update had been at fault.
I don't want to install the update installed again, how do I prevent it?

Settings -> Windows Update -> Advanced options
Switch Off "Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows"
