Disappeared file

When I take pictures I always use RAW file, which I open in Photoshop and then save as jpgs.
I also did so with a picture some time ago and yesterday when I was looking for the original RAW file, I could not find it.
I looked into the waste basket, it was not there. I made a search for it, found nothing.
As far as I can see, this is the only file that is missing.
What can I do?

Hi graverholt,

is the pic still on the SD card of the camera?, if you didn't format it fully, you may be able to recover the pic using something like the following software?:

Did you accidently forget to save a copy of the original file and save it as something else and not just a .jpg file?.

Reading your OP - But you still have the converted and saved *.jpg?
