My laptop cannot install windows 10 updates because it keep saying that my "active partition is compressed", how could I fix this problem or how could I decompress my active partition in order to install windows updates.
Thanks

If you look at the properties of the drive/partition you'll see there is a check box for "compress this drive to save space" I guess yours must be ticked. I don't know what happens if you UNtick that box but this
link has some good information. https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-uncompress-a-c-drive
Note the comments about a backup and how much space you are using.
On a relatively slow laptop drive I can imaging it would take some time.
