Doesn't Wake On Startup

I have a new ASUS Windows 10. When I start it up it shows the loading screen then goes black, but the laptop is on and running. None of the keys or mouse will wake my laptop. I have to press the power button to put in sleep/hibernate mode then again to wake it fully and log in.

Why wont the screen wake on startup?
