On start menu there are a lot of shortcuts to many applications I used like Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Chrome and many more.
I used to have on all these application above a arrow on which I hover the application there was a side menu which recent documents related to this specific application or in case of IE or Chrome, there was recent pages.
I don't have it anymore.
Any suggestions how to bring it back? (I don't think it related to the specific applications because it "disappears" in all of them.

Thank you

Hi,

Recent documents, files, etcetera accessed by you are displayed in the Quick access section of File Explorer

If you want that on your Start Menu you need to turn the feature on by doing the following:
  • Click Start
  • Click Settings
  • Click Peronalization
  • In the left pane click Start
  • In the right pane turn On the button beneath: "Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar"
