Downloading images from Nikon D7000 camera

Hi,

Windows 10 is telling me there are no images on my camera.

I have (as I always do) connected the camera via a usb cable.
I have checked it is not a faulty memory card.
I have checked it is not a fault of the Nikon D7000.
Everything I have done to download my images are as I normally do.
The only thing that has changed is we have downloaded Windows 10!

Therefore I have to conclude there is an issue with Windows 10.

Can anyone please tell me what to do? I am going crazy here !!

What happens if you put the SD card in the PC and try and read it?

I have encountered the very same thing with the very same camera. USB cable worked just fine in 7, move to 10, says there is nothing on the card, except I can see picture from the camera, and it connects on the old windows 7 machine fine.
