SOLVED DVD not working after Windows 10 installation

My DVD player is not working on either laptop since my Windows 10 installation. Any suggestions?

What was the previous Operating system?
Model and make of your laptop.

Thanks for responding. Both laptops had Windows 7 previously. One is HP 2000 Notebook and the other is HP Pavillion dv6.
