Edge browser presents blank white page

Installed windows 10 today. Edge browser worked for a time but now presents a blank white page. Fortunately Google Chrome still works. I keep getting screens which say Windows Shell Experience Host along the top over a blank window.
Suggestions?
I have installed Classic Shell, but these problems occurred before that.

Almost exactly the same issue...when clicking through to other sites or to open a pdf it just opens a 'blank page'.
Again Firefox is fine???
