Edge just disappeared this morning on my husbands laptop. I have the same one and mine is still there. I tried resetting it by deleting the folder in packages and when I tried to reset, I got this error message. Anyone got any ideas where it went? I attached the thumbnail. I checked his updates and nothing was installed overnight. He loves the browser and I couldn't find anywhere to go redownload it. Thanks!

You might try using the native System File Checker utility.
Right click the Start Button and choose Command Prompt (Admin) and in the command prompt window type
sfc /scannow
hit enter
let it do its' thing and see if it produces any information.

I just downloaded a tiny program called Microsoft Edge Launcher from here
https://github.com/MicrosoftEdge/MicrosoftEdgeLauncher/releases/tag/1.0.0.0
I saved it to the root of C
I then right clicked the start button, chose "Run" and in the Run dialog box I typed
Code:
C:\microsoftedgelauncher.exe www.google.com
It seemed to work fine for me. Not a solution but perhaps a means by which you can determine if Edge is really Toast or not.

Additionally, try.....
Right clicking the start button and choose "Run" and in the run dialog box type
shell:AppsFolder
hit enter or click OK
Have a look in there for "Microsoft Edge" see if it's present.
If so and if it functions, you might simply just right click it and pin to start or pin to taskbar

And finally, with respect to your powershell command an the error it produced.....
I believe, if you read carefully that, that command has to be performed from within the user's directory (profile folder) in order for it to work.

Tried this again this way and wouldn't even execute anything. I guess poor hubs is out until released for public use. Ah well, how weird! Thanks for your suggestions!
