SOLVED Error Message 0xc000012f.

Hi fellows.
Put on a new game and received above error code. Checked with Google reports on this and updated everything suggested.
It appears, according to various forums on Google that it is once again a product of the almighty Microsoft "all American way", "You got to control man,gotta control". In other words bury the source of the problem, hide previous updates in order to stop you removing the problem (Mushroom syndrom).

It appears to be a bit of a problem to a lot of people, only solutions being to remove certain previous updates, this being fine if you can access all previous updates. However, Microsoft, in it's wisdown, appears to remove previous updates from the listings thus negating that excercise.

Is it therefore possible to obtain a COMPLETE listing of all updates downloaded to your computer or the possibility of obtaining this listing, updating this listing or whatever?

I'm note 100% sure what you've done so far, but the d3dx9_41.dll file needs to be in the directory holding your game, rather than in system32 directory. Make sure too the file name is in lowercase not uppercase!

Have a feeling there may be a fault in this game. I will contact the supplier.
