Hello

Purchased Samsung Ultra thin portable DVD writer SE-218, unfortunately since my Lenovo laptop upgraded to Windows 10, my laptop failed to recognise DVD player when plugged into USB port?

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
It's possible that you may need to go to your product's support site
http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/GlobalProductSelector?C=1&TabName=Downloads&linkTrack
AND download and install drivers compatible with Windows 10.
Pay particular attention to Chipset, Storage Controllers, Video, Audio, LAN, WLAN, BIOS and anything that might be specific to USB.
