Get the at symbol back on my keyboard

When trying to enter the at symbol in e-mail address, the " symbol appears. How do I get the at symbol back?

Sounds like you may have chosen the wrong keyboard layout.
Instead of conventional US English you may have chosen English UK of perhaps another layout with different keyboard defaults
