Get Windows 10 app not showing.

I realize I can use the ISO's created by the download tools to manually upgrade. However I would like to understand why the app has not shown for me yet. I've tried following the instructions on this page. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/Windows-10-faq

I do have 3x 4.5.1 .NET updates that are not completing and I have chosen to hide Skype. All other updates are installed. I tried doing the following command, but I'm not sure if I am doing it correctly. "dism /online /get-packages | findstr 2952664" When I enter the command and press enter, nothing ever happens.

Your not alone in this...I'm seeing/hearing this quite a bit....globally.

Microsoft has taken to putting this notification up on most of their own community forums today.

Am I correct in assuming the app is needed to link your machine to your Microsoft account, in order to signup for the reservation?

The "Get Windows 10" button finally showed up on my machine today. That is what I have been waiting for.
