Gmail problem

I have developed an odd problem with Gmail. I like to copy a part of email that I receive, and paste it onto one that I am composing. All of a sudden, only the top of the copied material will paste - the rest just disappears. Does anyone have any idea of what is happening? Thanks.

Doesn't happen here. First time I have ever tried to compose a message in Gmail! I use a client on my PC.

I've had a similar problem. I updated my browser to the latest version, then everything is OK. Maybe you could have a try.
