HELP Windows 10 can't log in

I can not log into my computer I have tried to pull the battery turned it off
it boots up to the screen where you would put your password and my email name appears but the password box is black
any suggestion what to do
don't tell me my computer has crashed please?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I presume that when you say that,

the password box is black

That for some reason, that prevents you from clicking in the password box and entering your password for the account displayed??

IF so ..... on the sign-in screen there is a power button in the bottom right corner.
Use that while holding down the "Shift" key on your keyboard and select restart.
You'll need to navigate then, through the advanced troubleshooting options screen(s) until you arrive at the screen that presents you with "Startup Settings"
Select that and then click restart and afterward, choose #5 (Safe Mode with networking) from the list of options present.
