SOLVED Hotmail not syncing with Samsung phone

I cannot access from my Samsung phone my Hotmail folders that I've created. I've been told it's because my Hotmail is not syncing with my phone. Any ideas on how to fix this?

What model Samsung are you using?


One thing you could check is whether or not your auto syncing is turned on in the phone settings.

• Settings>Data Usage>Menu>Auto Sync Data
  
  Make sure that is on

I have the Note 4 and could not find a "menu" under data usage. I did, however went under Accounts and then went to my Microsoft Exchange Active Accounts where I found that all of my e-mail folders were set to "manual" sync. I changed all of them to automatic sync for every 5 minutes. But, that didn't work either. I also found a setting to "sync e-mail folders" for every 5 minutes. I tried that and IT WORKED GREAT. Your answer led me to the correct path. Thanks for your help
