Go to All apps find the make of your printer
Then Right click where you can either put it on taskbar or pin to start

No my Printer is an HP Envy and it shows up as HP in all apps
I click on the folder that brings up the model number I click on that
What is the make of your printer
Or see if it comes up as a short cut on your desktop then you can add it that way

It is a Canon Ink Jet printer but It has no app or short cut. There is no software associated with it.

I kept looking and found the printer app you referred to I think in Settings/Systems/Apps & Features/
It is a Canon Ink Jet Printer Utility. Dunno how useful it will be but I will check it out.
