So... I have a home network and I only use this specific PC for CorelDraw and VISIO (right now). Its connected via Ethernet to a Switch, but I'd like to turn off internet access but retain the connectivity to my other devices (printer, other computer, etc.) Is this something simple, and if I need to update anything, can I easily reinstate internet access? TIA

You could block that particular computer in your router from having internet access using "parental control" if your router has something like that. I have a Linksys WRT3200 and that has this function. Your results may vary...

Maybe installing a second network card would work, restrict the network access to one of the network cards to the internet and the other to your local network only?. Not sure if that would work but might be worth a try?. :)

I've had success in the past by just using a dummy static gateway address.
No gateway no way to get outside the internal network.
