How do I upload a file?

I use Microsoft FSX with my new Windows 10. I have found Windows 10 NOT user friendly. With Windows 7 I could easily upload a picture to a FSX forum, however I have found this is NOT the case with Windows 10. I have read Windows 10 for Dummies, like me, but can find nothing to explain in any detail how to accomplish this. When I did attempt to upload a picture to FSX forum I was presented with a screen I have never seen before for uploads. It did NOT work for me. Can someone tell me how to do this? Thank you.

I would think asking the forum you reference this question would be best.

Can you try using Internet Explorer instead of Edge and see if the forum behaves in a more familiar fashion?
Start Button -> All Apps -> Windows Accessories -> Internet Explorer.
