SOLVED I can't find my recycle bin

WinLogo Key + I = Settings
Personalization - > Themes -> Desktop icon settings
Make sure Recycle Bin is checked and any thing else you might want showing on your desktop.
And click OK.
If it is still not showing on desktop, right click a blank area of the desktop and choose View -> Show Desktop Icons.

Nope, other than to perhaps check the notification area icon and see if you have tablet mode toggled on.
