I Lost My Desktop

So my laptop did an update without telling me. When it turned back on, I realized that I am stuck on tiles and CANNOT get to my Desktop. There's no Desktop app or anything. Additionally, I cannot resize any windows. They are all stuck full screen and will not resize, only minimize to my task bar. Please please help me bring my desktop back from death.

Your OS is in tablet mode and all programs will open in full-screen.

Good thinking Ericko, you're probably spot on. At least I hope so.
So using the notification icon down near the bottom right by the clock and de-selecting Tablet Mode might just do the trick.
