Where did my icons go in windows `10?

What icons?? From where??
Desktop icons, start menu icons, file explorer icons????
Maybe a screen shot of what you are seeing using the snipping tool might help.

The icons I had on my desktop with windows 7. Windows 10 does not display them like 7 did on the desktop.

Does it not display them at all? Does it display some of them?
Are you missing a specific Icon? Are they shortcut Icons to programs, or folder?

If there are no icons on desktop, desktop icons may be turned off. Right click desktop and mouse over "View". Then checkmark the setting for "Show desktop icons".

Nothing shows up when I right click. Nothing

Are you saying that you do not get a context menu when you right click an empty area of the desktop?
