I can't seem to go a day without a problem since acquiring Windows 10. That may be an exaggeration, but sometimes it seems that way. This time, the problem is I have to put my taskbar on the right side of the monitor due to changes in a website I frequent. Up until today, I've been able to use the little double edge arrow to expand the window to decrease the width on the taskbar to about maybe a half inch. Today it is nearly 2 inches wide and the double edge arrow does not appear for some reason. Why won't it appear? Does anyone know?

You may have locked the taskbar,

Right click it and, in the menu unlock it.
