Imported Chrome bookmarks to Edge, now i cant delete it

I tried the new Edge browser and it offered to import my google Chrome bookmarsk/folders over. I did just that and it came onto the Edge bookmarks 'bar'. I have many folders with bookmarks but when i right click a folder & choose delete, nothing happens. I can delete the individual bookmark, but not the imported folders. Anyone know a fix please....
