inaccessible_boot_device

After upgrade to Windows 10 from 8.1.
I tried to restore because it was having trouble.
Now I'm stuck on a blue screen saying inaccessible_boot_device.
This has been going on for a week.
I would push F8, but it failed.
My Acer aspire don't have CD/DVD drive either.
So what do I do?

Welcome to the club. Turn your computer off and take to a repair tech asap. They will have to use an external boot source and reload windows. Most likely you will lose your data if 10 has caused your computer to blue screen. See my story, Upgraded Without Authorization Froze My Computer and Cost Me $80. I have a friend who had a similar thing happen to his computer the same day. My repair tech told me that yesterday morning a business owner from across the street came in sweating and panicked because a Windows 7 upgrade, which was most likely related to 10, had his computer reverted back to some long ago date and his data was gone. Microsoft has got a problem and they are not admitting it, and we are paying the price. Anyone smell class action?
