Good afternoon,
Help - I have been working from home for the last few months using my home computer and works laptop. Used my home computer all day Monday last week, went to log on Tuesday and it says my password is incorrect. It is the same 4-digit PIN that I have used since I set the PC up when I bought it so I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. Bit of a technophobe!

If anyone has any help or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just to be clear...
A PIN and a "password" are typically two different things.
You don't usually type a PIN (number) into a Password Text Box
Likewise you don't type a "password" into a PIN text box.
Can you clarify and confirm that you are making the correct entry into the appropriate prompt (text box).

1. Press Windows + I keys to open the settings.
2. Click on Accounts.
