Windows forced an update 17711 that I hate and all previous builds following 17672. How do I get out of this madness? All of the options are bad. The new software will not accept my Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical driver that I have used for years so I cannot have Close and Exit buttons which are very useful on the internet. It does not even look at my sound card driver because it expects a different file type.

TedWilt, at least you can get the new builds, good or bad. Since 17692 I have been stuck with being unable to do anything to get builds having necessary update material. I am stuck every time at 52% of the rebuild then it gives the error message that I have to click ok to reboot the computer. I am ready to call it quits to this crazy ride and stay at Build 17692.

New build installs OK after issues with all 177xx builds so give it a go!
